Here at Herbalize Store, we are big fans of the Puffco Pro and here is the new and improved version of its predecessor - The Puffco Pro 2. This Dab Pen does an amazing job at efficiently heating your wax and at the same time preserve all the flavours really well. They have also updated the heating chamber to maximize heating efficiency. Another improvement made to this new wax pen from Puffco is their newly invented “Sesh Mode” which allows you to control the Puffco Pro 2 without holding down the cloud button. These are the biggest changes from the Puffco Pro and they are definitely for the better.

Oven Capacity

The ceramic oven on the Puffco Pro 2 is one of the largest on the Dab Pen market, it can easily take a big enough piece of wax to have a nice sesh with a few friends. They have also done a great job with designing the oven with a little bit of an angle towards the middle so your material will end up on the hot coils instead if sticking to the sides of the chamber. The heating method is the same great coil-based system used in the Puffco Pro and it does a nice job heating up the wax. 

Sesh Mode

The sesh mode is something new on the Dab Pen market and Puffco have done a really good job with this added feature and it really makes your sessions more enjoyable. It works like this - when you double-tap the cloud button on the Puffco Pro 2 the coils stay hot on your set temperature for 12 seconds so you get continuous vapor that whole time for you to enjoy.

Design

The stainless steel body of the Puffco Pro 2 is a tiny bit smaller than on the Pro and we find this to be a useful upgrade since it makes it a bit easier to stash it or to bring it with you when you are out and about. But don’t let the smaller size fool you because this thing is a true powerhouse. Puffco have also designed a “stash cap” that will take care of any leakage problem. This cap is removable but with it on this unit is absolutely leak proof. Expect from this there are no major Design updates since the Puffco Pro so it’s still one of the most good looking Vape Pens on the market - just in a smaller package.

Battery Life

On the Puffco Pro 2 the battery life is significantly improved and it will keep you vaping forever. The statement from Puffco that this unit can be used up to 100 times on one charge might seem to be a bit on the higher end of the scale but from what our tests has shown we can now confirm that they are speaking the truth on this matter. The battery life on the Puffco Pro 2 is truly awesome.

Vapor Quality

Some people are after the tasty vapor that you get when vaping on lower temperatures - others are cloud chasers and they are looking for a wax vaporizer with high temperature that will give a large vapor production. The Puffco Pro 2 is definitely for the cloud chaser, it’s a powerful pen vaporizer that can produce massive clouds. But it’s not without cost because when you have big heating coils and vape on a high temperature you will lose some of the flavours in the process. But if you are after a Dab Pen in a small format that will produce large clouds on the go, look no further the Puffco Pro 2 is exactly what you have been waiting for.

Temperature settings

On the Puffco Pro 2, you got 3 different heat settings. It doesn't say precise temperature but with low, high or medium you get enough info to know what your vaping temperature is. See below for temperature and colour schedule.

• Green = Low
• Blue = Medium
• Red = High

In order to change the heat settings, you have to tap the cloud power button 4 times and then wait one second for it to change to the next setting and you have to repeat this every time you want to go to a new heat setting.
